現在生存しているオルレアン家の方は、ルイ１４世の弟のフィリップ１世の血を引いている正真正銘の子孫だそうですよ！

旧フランス王国オルレアン家の直系の子孫、パリ伯、アンリ７世夫妻と甥の王族の１人、アンジュー公シャルル・フィリップ・ド・ブルボン王子の写真です。

騎士団にも入っていた、アンジュー公、シャルル・フィリップ・ド・ブルボン王子。

でも、最近、騎士ごっこはおやめになったとかいうニュースが出ていた？

騎士団の紋章。どうも近代になって創設したんだとか・・・

そんなアンジュー公も、お年頃ということで妃を娶られたそうです。

ポルトガル王室ブラガンザ家の血筋の、ダイアナ妃と言う方だそうです。

イギリスのウィリアム王子のお母さんと名前が一緒ですね！

挙式は、ポルトガルの大聖堂を借り切って行われたそうです。

ルイ１４世は、スペインハプスブルグ家の直系が途絶えたときに、妃マリー・テレーズ・ドートリッシュの実家がスペインハプスブルグ家だったのを理由に、スペイン継承戦争をおこしてスペイン王位を継承することができた。

正確には、ルイ１４世と、ハプスブルグ家の王妃の生んだ皇太子と、その妃バイエルン選帝侯フェルディナント・マリアの娘マリー・アンヌ・ド・バヴィエールの２番目の息子が、スペイン王になったそう。

スペインハプスブルグ家のマリー・テレーズ･ドートリッシュはそのとき皇太后の地位にあったわけなので、

年齢差から見ても、スペインハプスブルグ家のお祖母ちゃんが一番エライっていう感じだったでしょう。

結局、スペイン継承戦争というのは、スペイン王の地位が格段に下がったことを物語っているようだ。

フランスブルボン家が、オルレアン家を創設したように、スペインブルボン家はパルマ公家を創設し、重要な家臣として結婚を繰り返したが、直系の子孫は、フェルナンド７世のときに断絶した。２人の王女様しか生まれなかったためだ。

そのうちの１人が、イザベル２世としてスペイン王の王冠を戴冠した。

代々、サリカ法という、男子優先の継承を定めた家法を持っているブルボン家にしては異例のことだったようだ。

一方、オルレアン家は、現在はフランス王家にはなれず、王位請求者ということで結婚相手を模索しているようだ。

革命の影響は大きく、オルレアン家は未だに、重要な家臣を見つけられないまま、遠縁の血筋を探し当てては、結婚を繰り返しているようだ。恐らく、これからも、王位請求者どまりだろう。

それにしても、アンジュー公のスペイン王室といっても、色々な意味でそうそうたるメンバーが並んでいますね。

時代の流れなのでしょうか。

しかし、現在も、各家のお召しになっているドレスだけは、威厳に満ちた昔のままですね。

元々、スペインハプルブルグ家だけでなく、フランスのカペー家の傍流ブルボン家も遠い昔に消えてしまっているのです。
