その絵はどこかにしまってあるけど、増税のせいで部屋がダンボールだらけになってしまいしばらく取り出せなくなった。

ロマノフ家関係の絵なのですがなにぶん、記憶があやふやで名前も分からない

ロシアの皇帝ピョートル１世は先帝の６男だったそうですから、皇帝の兄弟の絵だったかもしれません。記憶では、宮殿の柱に寄りかかって話しこんでいる２人の王子の絵だったと思います。

その絵のことを忘れかけている頃になんとなく似たような絵が目の前に現れて、思い出してしまう、私にとっては、とても不思議な絵です。

引越しでダンボールを全部片付けたところ見つかりました。

アレクサンドル・パーヴロヴィチ大公(1777-1825)は、パーヴェル・ペトロヴィチ皇太子とマリア・フョードロヴナの長男。1793年にバーデン＝ドゥルラッハのルイーザ・マリア・アウグスタ王女と結婚。1796年から王位継承者、1801年にロシア皇帝となる。

コンスタンチン・パーヴロヴィチ大公(1779-1831)はパーヴェル・ペトロヴィチ皇太子とマリア・フョードロヴナの次男。1796年にザクセン・コブルグのユリアナ王女（ロシア正教ではアンナ・フョードロヴナ）と結婚。1820年にグルジアのヨアンナ（ロヴィチ公妃）と貴賎結婚、その結果、王位継承権を失う。

パーヴェルの2人の息子達は、勲章保持者の特別祝賀日に着用するいわば、「勲章の礼装」で描かれている。
アレクサンドル・パーヴロヴィチは使徒聖アンドレイ勲章（1698年ピョートル1世が制定）の衣装を、コンスタンチン・パーヴロヴィチは、聖アレクサンドル・ネフスキー勲章（ピョートルの妻、エカテリーナ1世が1725年に制定）の衣装を着て描かれている。

この作品はエルミタージュのロマノフ･ギャラリーに飾るために1797年ランピに注文が出された、公的肖像画用の習作。

これは、フランスのルイ１４世と王弟のフィリップ１世の肖像です。

フィリップ王子は幼少の頃から、女装させられることが多かったそうです。

この絵でも少女のような服を着ています。

そして、こちらは最近発表されたイギリス王室の兄弟の肖像画です。

王の家族や、王と皇太子の絵はよく見かけますが・・
兄弟だけの絵は珍しいのではないでしょうか？


余計な話ですが、王位継承権の順位が皇太子とウィリアム王子で入れ替わるというニュースが出ている今日この頃、ウィリアム王子が欲しかったのは、エリザベス女王の隣に立つご自身の絵だったかもしれません。

現在のクレムリン宮殿の主は、プロフィールによると一人っ子だそうです。

兄弟の絵と言うには、ちょっと年が離れすぎですが、紹介します。
