【イスタンブール影山哲也】トルコを訪問中の安倍晋三首相は１３日夕（日本時間１４日未明）、エルドアン大統領とイスタンブールのユルドゥズ宮殿で会談し、テロ対策や難民問題への対応などについて、１５日からアンタルヤで開かれる主要２０カ国・地域（Ｇ２０）首脳会議で強いメッセージを出すことで合意した。
Ｇ２０首脳会議ではテロ対策や難民問題が主要議題となる。首相は会談で「Ｇ２０の成功に最大限協力する」と表明。シリアなど中東から欧州に難民が大量に押し寄せている問題について「民族や宗派を問わず、全ての人が安心して暮らせる民生の安定が重要だ」と述べ、必要な支援に取り組む考えを強調した。エルドアン氏は「世界からの支援の枠組みに期待したい」と述べ、日本を含む各国の支援拡大に期待感を示した。
日本とトルコの経済連携協定（ＥＰＡ）の早期締結のほか、三菱重工業などが優先交渉権を獲得した同国黒海沿岸部のシノップ原発の建設推進も確認した。
両首脳は会談後、１８９０年の軍艦エルトゥールル号事故に始まる日本とトルコの友好を描く合作映画「海難１８９０」が来月５日公開されるのを前に、ダイジェスト版を田中光敏監督らとともに鑑賞した。
